Florida Global University Expands its Academic Offerings with the Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Industrial Organization

We are pleased to announce that today, November 20, 2025, the Commission for Independent Education (CIE) of the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) approved our new undergraduate program: the Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Industrial Organization.

This event took place during a virtual meeting between Tallahassee and Doral, FL, presided over by the State Board of Education, acting as the commissioners of the CIE Florida. Representing FGU were our President & Chancellor, José Gerardo Guarisma Jr., Ph.D.; our CEO, Pedro Cabrera, MSc.; and our Accreditation and Development Coordinator, Roberto Perezalonso, MEd.

This undergraduate program, approved under our institutional license number #3180, will be offered online and consists of 120 credits divided among general education courses, core requirements, and the following concentrations:

  • Environmental Management
  • Quality and Logistics
  • Data Science
