It offers students and graduates of partner universities the opportunity to obtain a professional degree issued by FGU in the United States, in addition to their local university degree. This program applies to bachelor’s and master’s degrees and is aimed at universities in Latin America and Europe. It not only enriches students’ academic experience, but also opens doors to better job and career opportunities.
Subjects at FGU are carefully chosen to ensure compatibility with the content and competencies of the home universities. These courses can be easily incorporated into the curriculum of the home universities, following an academic schedule agreed upon between the institutions through agreements.

El Dr. Rigoberto Rodríguez Bueno es un líder educativo con más de 20 años de experiencia. Hernán Ocampo Moreno es un destacado profesional de la educación con múltiples maestrías de la Universidad de Barcelona en Neuroeducación Avanzada y Psicopedagogía, además de una en Negocios con especialidad en Innovación y Emprendimiento.
Actualmente, es doctorando en Educación y Sociedad en la Universidad de Barcelona, con una línea de investigación enfocada en neurodidáctica. Ocampo es el Director General y Fundador de la Escuela Pedagógica de Lima y se desempeña como Vicerrector General de la Universidad Santander de México, sede en Perú. También es Coach Ejecutivo especializado en la formación de equipos de alto rendimiento. Es miembro ordinario de la Society for Neuroscience con sede en Washington.
Benlly Hidalgo García-Luengo Álvarez, heredero del título de Hidalgo de Linares (España), es un líder estratégico con una notable trayectoria en la alta dirección, consultoría y educación superior. Fundador y CEO de Postgradum, ha demostrado ser un pionero en la creación de metodologías educativas y un experto en el mercado académico europeo. Nubia Consuelo Acua de Guarisma was born in El Amparo, a border town located on the banks of the Arauca River, Paez Municipality, Apure State, Venezuela. During her childhood, her family moved to San Juan de Los Morros, Guárico State, where she attended elementary school in the “República de Brasil” School Group. He attended high school and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities through the Direction of Teaching Support in the same San Juan de Los Morros.
Her educational training molded her temperament, strengthening her dynamism and permanent activity, in search of teaching action. She obtained her degree in Education at the Central University of Venezuela on March 7, 1975. She strengthens her vocation as a youth educator and increases her training by obtaining a Doctorate in Philosophy and Letters at the University of Navarra, Spain on November 24, 1980.
Subsequently, at the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua, he obtained the Postdoctorate in Education in the First Promotion on July 21, 2005.
He teaches at the School of Education of the University of Carabobo, where he retired as Professor.
Dr. Nubia, tireless and disciplined in her actions, is the main axis as co-founder of the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua from its beginnings in 1981 until its creation in 1986.
Once the operation of the University was approved on June 15, 1986, she was appointed Dean of Research, Extension and Graduate Studies, by Resolution No. SO2-004 dated 11-28-1986.
From this position he initiates and develops an activity of constant growth in the educational task with direct incidence in the formation of professionals in the area of research eager for knowledge that strengthens their perspectives of professionalization and specialization; without neglecting, also, the University Extension to which he dedicated special attention.
As of December 3, 1991, she was appointed Vice Chancellor for Academics until 2001.
Her work at the Vice Rector’s Office was of permanent action in the academic structuring for its adaptation to the necessary changes in the optimization of its operation. During this period she was Rector in charge for short periods of time on twenty (20) occasions.
From 2001 to 2005, she was again appointed Dean of Research, Extension and Graduate Studies.
The knowledge acquired through his time at the Academic Vice Rector’s Office allows him to fulfill his vision and perspectives regarding the necessary changes for the curricular updating of the Master’s, Specialization and Doctoral Programs in Educational Sciences.

Dr. Nubia Consuelo Acua de Guarisma’s extensive academic and professional management career represents a milestone in the history of teaching, research and university extension, impacting the destinies of generations that have made a difference in different areas of professional work.
Originally from the city of Maracay, Venezuela. He is a lawyer, graduated from Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1988. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Universidad Rómulo Gallegos obtaining a Master’s degree in Education in 2006 and a Doctorate in Education Sciences in 2008. In 2018, he graduated as Doctor in Education Sciences at the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua Venezuela. He obtained in 2018, the Doctorate Honoris Causa from the University of Spain and Mexico “UEM” of CDMX Mexico. Likewise, his professional development has focused on the managerial, technological and directive areas in the framework of innovative learning scenarios, with several diplomas taken in various institutions around the world. In his academic and professional career, he has directed educational and research projects in public and private institutions at international level, as well as member of the Nucleus of Rectors of the National Council of Universities of Venezuela. At the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua he held various positions from 1986 to 2014, among which stand out: Rector-President of the University, Academic Director and Director of International Inter-institutional Relations. In Florida Global University he served since 2012 as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO; from 2016 until today, Dr. José Gerardo Guarisma Jr. directs the destinies of the university as Rector-President. Due to his management FGU has felt his impact in the managerial work, with the approval of new academic offerings between 2017 and 2022. This impact and innovation is also reflected in this 2023 with two new PhDs, the consolidation of the FGU Research Center, which has four indexed journals and nine postdocs. Also the signing of international agreements and the establishment of academic partners in different countries in Latin America and Europe, such as Mexico, Colombia, Central America, Peru, Dominican Republic and Spain, among others. All this work and management direction projects Florida Global University into the future as a North American University for Latinos in the USA, Latin America and the world. Since 2019 he serves as President of the Board of Directors of Mexico Global University, guiding the process of consolidation, accreditation and internationalization of this Mexican University that comes to complete the managerial work in Higher Education in Latin America. In the year 2022, together with other entrepreneurs and leaders in online education, founded “American Business College” University Institution based in Florida USA; to guide new generations of students eager for knowledge and preparation for the future in various areas of knowledge. Finally, in 2021 he created and founded American Elite School, a North American institution of High School (Middle School), online and bilingual for this important sector of the population.

Undoubtedly, university education has obtained important contributions thanks to the innovative vision, professional, managerial work and extraordinary human quality that characterize Dr. Guarisma Jr.; reasons for which the academic distinction as Honorary Researcher of the Complutense University of Madrid, (Spain) since 2014. In 2017 he was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” granted by the Office of the President of the United States of America, to outstanding members of the American community for their contributions to the development of society; in the same year he was awarded the gold medal as “Missionary of Pace” by the Diplomatic Mission of Eastern Europe. In 2018, he obtained recognition for his contribution to the global educational field, by the International Council of Entrepreneurs of Mexico.
With an impressive track record in education, Próspero José Posada Myer stands out as a visionary and committed leader. His training includes specializations in organization and management of cooperatives, marketing and agro-industrial projects, health services administration, and multimedia, among others. He also holds a master’s degree in educational administration and planning and a doctorate in educational sciences, currently pursuing a doctorate in economics and business. His professional experience includes roles as rector of the María Cano University Foundation for 21 years and president of the School of Technologies of Antioquia, as well as university professor in several institutions. He has contributed significantly to the academic literature and has participated in numerous seminars and courses, consolidating his commitment to educational excellence and the development of the academic community. His leadership and dedication position him as an inspiring figure in the educational sector.
With an outstanding career as an aesthetic and photonic doctor, as well as being a recognized international speaker, he has founded and directed the Iberoamerican Academy of Medical Laser since 2013. This institution is dedicated to promoting education in photonic medicine with high programmatic standards and international regulations, endorsed by the Florida Global University in the USA and the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado in Venezuela. To date, it has trained more than 300 professionals in Latin America through diplomas and international certification courses. Born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, he graduated Cum Laude from the Universidad Centroccidental “Lisandro Alvarado” and is a specialist in Aesthetic Surgery from the University of Barcelona, with a Master’s Degree in Photomedicine and Laser Surgery from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. His experience includes being Boardcertified in laser safety and medical applications by the American Society of Medical Surgical Lasers (ASMLS) and university expert in Facial Dermatocosmetics and Energy-based Technologies applied in aesthetic medicine by the Cardenal Herrera University in Madrid. With a solid academic and professional background, she has proven to be an exceptional leader in business and education. Educated at the Lycée Français de Santo Domingo and graduated with honors in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, she holds an MBA from the EAE Business School in Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in Tax and Accounting Consulting from the University of La Laguna in Spain. In addition, she has participated in numerous courses, workshops and international congresses. Her professional career includes the management of several successful projects and her current role as partner and manager of several companies. Her passion for the business world is complemented by her dedication to higher education, playing key roles as a member of UAPA’s Board of Directors and Rector. Throughout her 20 years of experience, she has led innovative initiatives such as the formalization of administrative and financial areas, the implementation of strategic software, the promotion of image changes, the internationalization of UAPA in Europe, the systematization of the culture and innovation system, the diversification of financial investments and the improvement of human talent management. The Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS), founded by law on November 5, 1832, is an autonomous entity of public law, constituted by teachers, students and administrative staff, with its own legal status, recognized by the Political Constitution of the State.
